Excellent brunch experience! I came here as a party of 5 on a Sunday and my party was seated quickly. They do not take reservations so my party had to walk in. My table ordered the Pastry Assortment and I ordered the Papa’s Breakfast Bowl (sans bacon), a side of Flank Steak, a side of mixed greens and the Bergamot & Clementine Winter Tea Elixir (seasonal). Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The food was well seasoned and the bread was flaky and soft. The staff was friendly and the attention to detail in the decor was stunning. Overall a great experience and I would return again!
Third time around, and will be coming back over and over every NJ visit. Breakfast here is delicious! Staff and service at this location are wonderful. Blueberry caramel iced latte and papaya matcha lemonade are to die for - albeit seasonal. The brioche bun on the breakfast sandwich is soft and buttery toasted to perfection. The mix of the potatoes and avocado and bacon on the breakfast bowl is amazing! Such a cutie little spot, great ambience, right by the water so a nice walk before/after eating. Kougins are super tasty - must buy a perfect treat to end of a meal.
What a great find! Delicious coffee and quiche (I had feta/artichoke). Also delicious desserts. The place is cute and inviting and the service was super friendly and speedy
Absolutely love this spot! The atmosphere is super cozy. The staff is incredibly warm and friendly, excellent presentation and quality of food. Definitely a go-to, they always have fresh flaky croissants and rich, smooth lattes!
The best cafe experience in Jersey City! My wife and I loved it so much we’ve already come back for a second visit. Between the cozy ambiance and the delicious food, we can't recommend it enough. A must-visit :)
I truly enjoyed the ambience of this café. My quiche was great and so was my cappuccino. The views of the river were definitely an added bonus!
The customer service was incredible! I've been to plenty cafes, but this one was amazing! I highly recommend the Cortado plain. You can really taste the essence of the coffee and the art is beautiful! Sandra and Gless were fantastic. Can't wait to come here again!
I had a really nice experience at Maman in Jersey City. The barista actually took the time to walk me through the different coffee options, which I really appreciated. It felt relaxed and genuine, not rushed at all. Definitely coming back- hazelnut latte a must !!!
had no idea there was a maman here! I came in for breakfast on the way to the train and there was a line of about 10 people in front of me, so pretty busy. It’s a nice big airy space with plenty of tables and a bathroom in the back. Only two people were working and It seemed like they could have used another set of hands. The quiche was delicious and pretty big. I liked how they heated it up and it got caramelized on the top. It did take 20 minutes though. They have so many pastry’s! I been to maman in the city before and the location I went to was smaller and barely had 10% of what this location has. Everything was so fresh. The everything croissant melted in my mouth. It was crispy and flakey and then soft and very rich and buttery. The pistachio chocolate croissant was also just so light and easy to eat, taking one bite it all just melted in my mouth. I will say that the pistachio wasn’t as strong as I would have liked it. Next time I want to try the pumpkin croissant thing which looked liked a tower of croissant with merengue on top. I got the matcha pumpkin latter iced and it tasted watered down and too sweet. But I did like the touch of pumpkin to it, I never thought matcha and pumpkin would go together. I wish also that they had the iced drinks in the mason jar like they have pictures of on the menu. Other than some small details this place is excellent for a satisfying breakfast
Stopped here on a layover and had some of the most exceptional food and even more exceptional service from the staff! Huge shout out to Sandra! Extremely friendly and super helpful, some of the best service I've had anywhere in a while. If you're looking for good food, good people, and a good vibe, i cant recommend this place enough
